Nowadays in the field of Digital Marketing, a most frequently asked question is whether or not is blogging still worth it?

I realize why it is the most frequent question because we can see that nowadays there are a lot of other Digital Marketing methods to get instant results but Blogging needs a lot of time and effort which is necessary for long term goals.

So that’s why most people thought that blogging is dead or blogging is not worth it…..!!!

But I just wanted to make it clear that this thing totally depends on your goals.

but according to the majority of the people “Of course Yes it is still worth it” because what blogging requires is your Time and Effort and the most important fact that every new blogger should be kept in mind that blogging is not a “Get-Rich-Quick Tactic“.

What is a Blog?

Basically, a Blog is shortening of a weblog. It is also known as the online diary or journal or informational website displaying information in the reverse chronological order, with the latest posts appearing first.

It consists of more than Words and Images. It cannot be read simply for its writing but is the sum of writing, layout connections, and links, and the place of publication.

What is Blogging?

In short, we can say that Blogging is the act of writing in a blog.

Blogging is sharing realtime information with the world.

Blogging consists of skills that one needs to run and control a blog.

Those skills can be promoting your blog, sharing links, Use of the various web tools, creating content, curating content, etc.

All big sites have converted themselves to blogging sites because they are sharing the information with you and they are updating their sites on a daily basis.

1) Do you have a Message (Content):

The first and most important thing you should have kept in your mind that without an effective message and unique content you cannot attract your target audience.

So first of all, you must have quality content, when we talk about content its not only in the form of Text, it also includes Images, Videos, Infographics, Charts, Tables, etc.

Actually you just have to find your “Why?” that why are you going to start a blog? then find your target audience and then find your “Message” you want to deliver to your target audience that is in the form of Content.

2) Are you a Good Communicator:

Now You are going to write Articles, Blog posts on your blog so you should be a good communicator because you are going to provide value in the form of content to your target audience.

Work on your communication skills first and find out the effective ways through which you can interact with your customers.

3) Do you have Time:

Now, this depends upon you that Are you are a full time or Part-time Blogger. If you are a Full-time blogger that’s well enough because you are fully devoted to your blog.

But if you are a Part-time blogger than you have to work hard because After a hectic schedule of your daily routine it is difficult to get time for your blog.

What you have to do is to dedicate at least 2 hours a day to your blog for research and writing purposes.

So you must have the knowledge about all the technical terms that are connected with blogging.

6) Are you willing to step out from your comfort zone:

As I mentioned above that blogging is not a Get-Rich-Quick-Tactic. So the problem is that the new bloggers think that it is easy to start a blog and to make money from that blog.

Yes, it is easy to make a blog but it is the most difficult task to make that blog a successful blog then it starts giving you rewards that you deserve.

So if you want to make a career in blogging you must have to come out from your comfort zone and create some value for your target audience and provide unique content.

7) Are you Disciplined:

Discipline is one of the most important factors that can make a blog and blogger successful.

because if you want to start a blog then, first of all, you should have to work on your daily routine and find out that in which time I can do my blogging stuff.

Blogging requires a lot of research to find out new ideas then you have to create content about those ideas so there is a need for dedicated time slots and you must have repeated the same on daily basis only then you can find blogging worth it.

In this era where everyone uses social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc.) to connect with everyone to share his/her thoughts globally.

A new blogger should be a Social Person because nowadays the majority of the people are on social media and on social media you can easily find people with different age groups, preferences, likings, etc.

Promotion is the main tactic that every blogger should be aware of this is the most common mistake that most of the new bloggers do.

If you are doing a lot of effort to research and make a blog and gives your precious time to your blog then what’s the reason? why your articles are not ranking?

This happens due to the lack of knowledge about the promotion strategies because most of the new bloggers don’t know that Hoe to promote their content.

9) Are you willing to Learn:

Now in this digital era, everything is changing in the flick of time, and if you want to be in the race than you must have to be updated and learn the new concepts that will be introduced in your respective field.

So keep updating yourself so that you can provide the latest and fresh content to your target audience.

10) Are you Consistent:

Consistency is the key to success because consistency is the key factor that gives you results and provides value to your audience.

Most of the new bloggers don’t take this seriously and this is one of the reasons for their failure.

Consistency means to make the articles and set a publish routine, for instance, to set frequency like Once in a week, Twice in a week, Four times in a month, etc. Set a schedule to publish the articles in that frequency and then set a day like if you decide to publish your article once in a week then decide on which day?.

After that process sticks to that schedule and is consistent. You will realize that this works for your blog and you get results.

We can’t ignore the fact that the world is changing at a very fast pace due to digitalization and new technological trends.

so if you want to survive then you must have to adapt the change.

I am sorry to say so but can’t resist that nowadays most of the people come into blogging due to the “Money Factor”.

but I can say that if you are doing blogging for money then maybe you can get the success but that’s the reason why most of the new bloggers fail.…!!!!
